Freediving.ie is an AIDA Freediving school based in Ireland, established in 2021. Freediving.ie offers certification courses and coaching to all levels.

Freediving Instructors
Daithí Ó hÉighnigh
Daithí has been Freediving since 2017 and was certified as an AIDA Freediving Instructor in January 2021.
Daithí has been fascinated by water for as long as he can remember. In 1997, he formalised his relationship with the element and graduated from UCD with a Masters Degree in Water Engineering, specialising in hydrology.
In 2017, Daithí qualified as a yoga teacher and experienced Freediving for the first time with Apnista Freediving in Amed (Bali). Immediately hooked, he continued his Freediving training in Malta between 2018 and 2020.
In 2019, Daithí qualified as an Art Psychotherapist and completed his AIDA Freediving Instructor training in Dahab in January 2021.
Today, Daithí combines elements from all of his qualifications to deliver a unique brand of Freediving training. Daithí's relationship with Freediving has been an integrative and healing experience and he loves to share the practice with others. Freediving is the fullest expression of who he is and what he loves most. “I love how I need to draw on pretty much everything I've learned in this life to Freedive and when I'm not fully present, respecting the power of the practice, the water lets me know straight away. It's a great privilege to be able share this practice with others.”
